Hi, I'm really looking for encouragement and support
I was reading an article in the January issue of O, that encouraged me to look for support when going for my weight loss goals. I lost about 30 pounds in 2008, but found a way to put at least 15 pounds of it back on this year. I am reluctant to partner up with any of my gal pals because they are all waifs.
My issues are:
-I have a serious sweet tooth. I love anything sweet and am a cookie monster!
-Emotional eating. I have the tendency to want to eat when I dont feel well
-Munchies-I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but I smoke marijuana and it gives me crazy muchies. I'm going to cut back on it tremendously in 2010, but its an issue I've had for a while. When I smoke or drink, I have the tendency to want to eat everything in front of me.
-Portion control
-Eatting veggies
I dont know if you guys have any suggestions or links for me, but I'm looking forward to hitting and maintaining my weightloss goal this year. I feel that being overweight hinders me from doing a lot fo things that I would like to do or am capable of doing. Lastly, I work in sales and the sales world is not nice to big girls. I am only 26 and I want to make lifestyle changes that carry me into my 30s and beyond. I look forward to connecting and sharing with you all!
