Hello Ladies (and you Guys out there too! I know you are here!)

I have been on 3FC in the past but I never kept up. I always get this way in the winter. I let myself slide through summers..."I've got time, I'll get to it." But when I get to the winter months, I reflect on myself and I'm not as busy and I start getting back in the "I've got to do something" mood. So here I am checking in for the 3rd time, (I've been a member roughly 2 years) and I want to make this the start of a beautiful healthy life. I've made several excuses in the past, if you look at my past introductions I had a long list of "but this and that"s and I want to own up to that and do better this time. My life in the past year has forced me to grow up more and I'm ready to be more responsible.

The biggest thing I need is accountability and I hope I'll find that here as well.. In the past I've come here without any plans. I still don't have a plan, but the difference this time is that I'm not going to make that an excuse, I know now that I need a plan and that is something I want to learn about here too. I know there are so many resources on here i neglected to use in the past, and I don't want that to happen this time.

Sounds like you're back and ready to go with a can-do attitude - no looking back, just moving forward -the support you need is here - you can do this - and we'll all be here to cheer you on!

Glad to have you back with us! As you know, there are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There's also info and first hand advice on different eating plans and exercise to help you choose the right ones for you and get through the ups and downs.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome back - you're in the right place - jump back in by inspiring us and being inspired!

Hi and welcome Phoenix!

I'm going to strongly recommend that you find a daily thread and check in every day. We need all the help we can get to stay in the right frame of mind for weight loss. Coming to 3FC regularly might just be the little kick you need.
