I am so glad I found this forum. I have seriously started to try to lose weight in the last couple of months. I have always been on the larger size. I have a large frame so I will never be "skinny" but I want to be healthy. We got a Wii Fit for Christmas and I saw I weight 228 lbs. That is when I realized I needed to do something.
I am starting to exercise at least 30 - 45 minutes a day, walking, weights, and pilates. I am also really cutting back on calories and being more intentional on what I eat each day. I am drinking only water. I have not had sweet tea in over a month. Trust me that is a big deal as Sweat Tea was my addiction.
I want to get back to a size 12 or 14 which is where I was when I got married 13 years ago. Since February when I started I have lost almost 10 pounds. I weighed in this morning at 119.6.
My goal is to lose 4 lbs a month over the next 16 - 20 months. I know that some months will be easier than others. My hardest problem is finding time to exercise.
I know this is a long life transforming journey but I am looking forward to the day that I can report my goal has been reached!
