I am not good about seeking support. I have been lurking here for a while, thinking it would be good for me to post, and not doing it--half because I somehow it felt like posting would be admitting how much work I still need to do and half because I have tried posting other places and people were very cliquish and I felt awkward. But you all seem so great I'm taking a deep breath and doing it!
Since this is an introduction, here's a little about me: I've lost about 40 pounds so far and have about 50 to go. I'm married, 31 (no kids), and I have a really time-intensive job that makes dieting really hard--I eat three meals a day in my office, and Lean Cuisine leaves me starving. After years of feeling guilty for not making it to the gym and not having the energy or time to cook and pack meals, I finally decided that enough was enough. I needed to just accept my own limits and work with them rather than feeling constantly guilty. I started BistroMD (get the boxes delivered straight to work) and bought a Wii Fit that I can play with and feel good about. This has been like a miracle for me. I'm not losing fast, but I feel so much better and more in control of my life!
Anyway, that's me. I look forward to getting to know you. Hello to you all!

Congratulations on losing 40 pounds, that's a huge achievement.
Yeah, sometimes lean cuisines can be a little skimpy, I feel your pain there. And you'll have to post your thoughts on the wii fit when you get it, I've been curious! My mom wanted to try it, and I'm just secretly worried that the wii scale will tell me I weigh more than my regular home scale. (Which also happens to be a big reason I'm scared to go to the doctor!)

I really like the Wii Fit, but I don't like that it asks me to weigh myself every day. It's depressing to see the scale go up and down rather than just down down down, even when you know in your head that any normal person's weight will fluctuate. But then again, it tells me I weigh about 3-4 pounds LESS than I do on my regular scale, so I'm not going to argue with it too much!
Welcome to the site, and congratulations with your success this far. Don't be shy to ask any questions or for any advice because the ladies here are non judgmental, and definitely not clique-ish!
Hey there, and welcome Kate! I am glad you decided to post. You are already on the track to success. Many of us here can relate to time constraints. Really though, there is no reason to ever be hungry.
I feel like a "Newbie" here at 3fc's, but I've really been a member since 1999. I've been off the wagon for quite some time and decided to hop on again! I lost close to 50# 8 years ago with the support of 3fc's, Stay At Home Mom's thread. That thread doesn't exist anymore, so I hope you don't mind me hangin' around with you all. I have gained back my 50# loss & then some! I've done it before, so I know with the help of you all, I can do it again! I'm glad to meet all you "losers". Hopefully I can be a loser, too!
