Wink Hi, just here looking for some motivation!

Hello everyone! My name is Debbie, and I live in central Kentucky.

I don't really know where to start.....I do know that I need to lose weight. A LOT of weight.

Well.....for beginners, I have lost some already. In Oct. '07 when I started working again(after 2 years of staying home with my 2 children) I weighed 267lbs. I was wearing a size 20 jeans(but needed to be wearing a 22, cause they were TIGHT!!). Right now, I weigh 224 and can get into my size 16's again.

The bad news is, I am stuck. I cannot seem to lose anymore. I do have a game plan. I am going to drag out my old firm videos, and start working out. Maybe dust off my treadmill (LOL!!). It has to be done, though. I have come to far already to just give up and say "This is good enough"

My short term goal will be to get below 200lbs. Long term, I would like to weigh about 140 or so. We shall see!!

Hey Debbie!

Have you seen the 100 lb club? It's a great group for those who are losing or have lost 100 lbs or more...it'd be a great place to start.

You should look around and settle in..can't wait to get to know you better!

Hi Debbie !
Hang in there I know exactly what you mean about being stuck. Do not give up sometimes it takes several weeks to start loosing weight again. I was at three weeks stuck and the other day I lost a pound again.
Of course during that three weeks I was like "What is going on!".
I think it is better to loose slow and then your body has time to adjust also.

Welcome to the group!!

Thanks for the warm welcome! My first day under my new routine has been great! I did a workout video this morning, and have just been staying active cleaning and stuff all day. This is the first time I have slowed down! I hope I can get past this little plateau I am on....
