Well good morning people!!!
I am a little excited. I lost 2 pounds during my first week getting to the new me! Oh, I'm new to this site, but I really have liked what I've read here.

Here's some info on me....I'm 5'2" and weigh 190.4. ( 2 gone since last week!) Today, Tuesday, is my weigh in days. I have 2 sons, one is almost 15 and our other is 6. Our oldest is the football star in the family and our little one is a little bundle of joy! He is a special needs child. I'm married to a wonderful man, who is losing with me! He lost 4 pounds last week! Of course, I have much more to lose than him, but that's ok.

Well, I hope to make some good friends here.

Hey Montikd!

I agree - having someone to lose weight with DOES make it easier. Ultimately, though, the motivation comes from within you...and GOSH, you sound motivated!

Look around! We have tons of support groups...by age, by amount of weight to lose, by plan...even special "Challenges" to push yourself toward losing those extra pounds. You'll find a spot or two that are perfect for you, I'm sure...then jump in and post away.
