Default Not new, but back...

After a horrible year 2007 is almost over, and I am back to my starting weight....I dont know what plan I am going to follow or how I am going to lose this weight, but I was doing well until about 5 deaths in the past 6 months. I got off track, but I am ready to start again. I could definitely use some buddies to keep me on track

Mary

PS
27 yo female, 5 kids, one husband, one dog, - my life is hectic, but I need to change for me...

Well Mary ... you have a very full life! Whew!

If you're just hanging around on the computer you could try this ... find fitday.com and enter all your foods for today. You don't even have to plan to calorie count, you'll just get an idea what you could cut down on.
Tomorrow? Go for a little walk and see if you can eat smarter than you did today.

Above all else ... don't be a stranger here at 3FC. Read lots and post. We'd like to get to know you better and we'd like to help you. Welcome!

Hi Mary,

I'm sorry that you had such a rough year. Congratulations on taking control of your health for the new one.

I'm very new here myself and I was especially glad to see that you're another tall chick. I noticed that there is already a thread somewhere around here for petite ladies and was thinking about starting one for the Amazon girls too.

I had kind of a crappy year too, but nothing compared to yours. I am back starting again too...and we are starting at the same place! Good luck!

Default Well

The way I was losing before was a modified weight watchers...lol..I know it doesnt make sense..

I keep track of my points, but I dont use flex points.

Today I had
Oatmeal for Breakfast- 3 pts (it was vanilla cinnamon flavored)
Lunch
Potato- 2.1
cheese- .9
tortilla- 2
turkey- 1.9
salsa- 0
pickle-.1

Lunch total 7.6

I have a total of 31 pts...it is hard for me to use all of my points....does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks for all of the motivating advice...and encouragement

Mary

I'm not sure what WW suggests but a lot of calorie counters don't really mind being under cals for a day or two. Stuff happens ... some kind soul will hand you "just a little somethin" worth 3 spare points or your boss will buy lunch. Some days will be too little, some days will be too much. As long as you average about the right amount of food over time ... you'll be fine.
