Hi all,
My name is Kayla, 20, attending university but home for the summer (which is only another 3 weeks). I currently weigh about 200 lbs, but it could be more since I don't have a scale in the house. I will have one available when I move into my new apartment in August.
I'm glad to have found this place. I made the serious decision about a week ago to lose weight. I've been needing to and wanting to but seriously lack motivation. I don't have anyone to do it with me while I'm at home- my two sisters are incredibly athletic and it just makes me feel awful to work out around them. My roommate at school (who is also my best friend) is wanting to lose weight as well, and we have decided to use the rec to our advantage as well as keeping soda and junk food out of the house and eating right.
Just to give a snapshot of what I have started to do, here's what I did today:
Breakfast: One bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats w/ Almonds with 1% milk
Lunch: Grilled chicken panini and cottage cheese
Snacks: Handful of baby carrots, Special K 90 calorie bar
Dinner is being prepared right now: Blackened tilapia with a large salad
