I'm 17 years old, and this is not the first time I've dieted, believe me. I tried everything! Over this past summer though, I just counted calories. I lost 30lbs. When I started school again, I gained 20lbs back. Now, I'm going to lose that weight, and more! By August 6th, I promise myself to lose 31lbs.

I found this website called StartYourDiet, and it told me that 1376 calories a day would be right for me, and I agree. After a week with this calorie intake, I lost 3lbs! I'd love to have a DietBuddy, so if you'd have me, please PM me.

Charlene that is great!!! You seem to have a good start and motivation. My daughter also 17 started me on my diet journey at Christmas time o6. She started in Sept herself. To date she has lost 50 lbs and I have lost 62 lbs.
