I would love to join you all on a restart/reboot. I lost 27lbs in 8 weeks last fall going to a clinic and fell off over the holidays...and yep...it's all back on
Day 1 is today and I am looking to lose 95lbs using mostly alternatives...FULL STEAM AHEAD!

WTG, BetsyAnn!! Welcome back and cruise the forum for IP on Alternatives with some pretty great threads for recipes too. There are some awesome ideas for holiday recipes to keep you on track so you can't use this time of year as an excuse, lol.

It can be done! I started my weight loss with IP in mid November and continued through condo ski vacation, holiday food fests, and cold weather comfort foods to reach my goal in early March (a few years ago). I'm still successful in maintenance although at the top end of my maintenance weight range. You can do it too! I mainly eat under 75g of carb these days as now that I am post menopausal I don't want to get carried away and have regrets and more hard work later.

We can do this! Once we're in it, it's not so hard.

I just miss seeing my ticker.... That was always a good incentive for me.
Hi Joy!
Glad to see you are still going strong. Me too. Started week 7 today for what I believe will be the last time!!!

I had my first official weigh-in on Saturday, down 1.5 lbs, which was awesome as I totally jumped off the wagon into a big pile of Halloween candy, followed by Doritos and Cheetos on Wednesday. I never, ever binged like this before I lost the weight with IP. I don't know if it's because IP is so restrictive but now, when I cheat, it leads to a quick binge fest. I truly believe it's an addiction, too bad you can't go cold turkey on food!

Has anybody had gas and cramping issues with Quest products? I used the powders and bars the first time I did the program and did not have this problem but now, jeesh! Maybe I need to find alternatives.

Spent the weekend roasting cauliflower, shredding cabbage, and spinning lettuce to prep me for the week. Have a great week!
I have had no issues with Quest. I love it as it is so versatile. In fact, I was sitting here watching tv and thought that I'll make donuts tomorrow with it for a change. I've made savory ones but tomorrow I will make sweet ones. I'm looking forward to see how they come out.

Good for you, BetsyAnn! I am doing P1 through the holidays as I decided that I want to get to goal and transition as quickly as possible so taking a break for holidays is not worth it now.
