Take it easy on yourself today - I hate it when I don't sleep well!

Our smoke detector randomly went off at 2:30 a.m. which woke my son, so he went off at 3:00 then 3:30.... I hear you on the tired! But "press on".. here's to a good OP day (and hopefully sometime a nap!)

Me too.
My lack of sleep was from caffeine too late in the day but I'm super tired today.
Didn't get up for exercise. Now I'm stiff, sore, and tired!

Aleve to the rescue!

And if you had an IP headache (Ketosis flu), try increasing your salt today. You can lick some right off your hand and chase with water or add some to some flavored water throughout the day (gatorade-style). Another solution is to drink some bouillon. Especially effective if you're trying to beat the "hungries"

Good morning!
Have my mom here and we are heading out for errands. At 73, she is getting her first smart phone today (heaven help me as I teach her how to use it!) and I have an NSV of sorts - I need to go get a couple of new tops for our trip tomorrow because what I have is too big.

I made that roast for her last night and she loved it - yay!
Hope everyone has a great day.

Haven't been on much, life's been super busy and super stressful. I'm kind of just floating and maintaining my losses so to speak. I'm not eating off plan, but I'm also not eating on plan so to speak, some days I just don't eat like I'm supposed to, I can't stomach food at all some days, but I do try my best to eat and I am getting my water and vitamins. Even though I didn't lose weight the body comp machine showed I lost a 1.3lbs of fat this week. This is my last week of work so hopefully that will help and I can get some rest. I have two weeks until my much needed vacation and I can hardly wait!.

Tough night here as well. Just out of curiosity, I checked and no, it is not a full moon, just the new moon. So much for that.

Headed oh, so close to leaving the BMI category for obese. I hit 30.0 today so I am hoping just for fun that I hit the 29.9 before weigh in on Friday! I do not know when I last would have been out of "obese" and into merely "overweight"...

Then it is a looonnnggg 32 pound journey to hit "normal". Do not know whether I will end up there or not in any sense of the word? lol

Default Beck Diet Solution Daily tip

Wednesday Sabotage: It’s okay to eat this extra food because it’s healthy.

Response: Even healthy food has calories and people can and do gain weight eating all healthy food. Besides, regardless of its nutrition content, if if I eat extra, unplanned food, it’s still exercising my giving-in muscle which will make it harder to resist unplanned food the next time.

Sounds like you need more salt.
Lick it off your hand.
I put some in my lemon water, too!

Second-hand stores became my new friend as I lost weight.
Congrats on needing new tops

This is the part that I remind myself of all the time - I know from experience that allowing that "giving in muscle" any exercise can set back my journey to goal like nothing else!

It is not just the weight part, although that is the tool by which we tend to validate progress, it is the MENTAL part. Giving in sends me a on mental whirl of cheating, slipping, recriminations, guilt, bingeing, disgust, shame.....

Want no part of that trip.....

Hi everyone, This is the end of my first week alternative style and I am down 7 lbs. I know that it will be slower now. I am just so excited to have lost anything because I have tried many plans and failed. My weight loss is more difficult as I am in Menopause at the age of 44 . Wishing you all a wonderful week.
