I am on phase one,day 3 of the alternatives ideal protein plan and am still trying to figure out all the ins and outs of what's allowed. I just bought a container of protein powder called Dymatize IS0-100. It's zero carb, zero fat, zero sugar, 25 g protein. It seems like a wonderful alternative for my shakes but are there any other restrictions i should look out for in my ingredients list other than aspartame?
I just looked it up, it doesn't look like there are any crazy "performance enhancing" additives (common in some bodybuilding products) and the nutritional content looks good! I would however suggest not to use it for all 3 packets - most IP packets have about 15-18g protein, while this one has 25g protein per serving. If you had it 3 times that would be the protein equivalent of 2 extra packets.
