Default Diet direct referral program-

Hello,
I am about to register at diet direct and order some products- I saw that they have a referral program ($10.00 credit). Does anyone currently use this site (and is registered) and want me to list them as my referral so we both get a $10.00 credit? I just need to provide them either a referral code or an email address.

I think Kaypix is referring people in - if you search for posts by her username I know she posted something not too long ago.

I order from Diet Direct. Thats awesome. I didnt know they did that. I know if you sign up, they give you "rewards points". so you can redeem them on your future purchases.

I placed an order on DD 2 weeks ago, didn't get charged duty from fedex... I received my order today and had to pay 25 bucks.I'm kinda angry about that. I just wrote an email to the customer service rep, they should be offering USPS to Canadians. I hope they do something about this.. I was planning on ordering from them every 2 weeks. (

You can probably dispute this. I live on the boarder and so I have a US mailbox that I get my stuff sent to. The first time I crossed the border with my ordered food (from DD and also Nashua) the guard asked if it was supplements or meal replacement. I told her it was meal replacement, because it is, and therefore there's no duty on it because it's considered food, not drugs, which there are stricter controls on. This guard said this had just come up in a meeting. I'd check into this if I were you.

I also order my supplements from Puritan Pride, and have it sent right to my door in Canada, and you're allowed 160.00 worth of vitamin/supplements a month import without paying duty, though PP charges and extra handling fee for having to fill out customs slips.

Honestly, I'd also suggest just placing larger orders less frequently. That's what I do, just to save on postage, which is killer.

Please don't kill me if this is in the wrong spot, I am having a hard time navigating these boards!

I would love it if someone could be my referral buddy. Can anyone help? Thanks so much in advance and I'm sorry if this post was put in the wrong spot!

I would be happy to refer you! My referral code is: 6504036 if you would like it. I LOVE ordering from Diet Direct. The shipping is really fast and you earn 5-10% of every order to use towards future orders and free shipping over $49. It's nice to save money anywhere you can. Not too shabby! Are you new to Ideal Protein??

Thank you BrittStar!!! I was trying to PM you to ask, but I have no idea how to do it on these boards! Can Newbies not PM here? Anyway, my order is being placed now. Thanks so much for helping me.

I am not a stranger to IP. While I was recovering from my surgeries, I followed a Paleo diet. It took me almost two weeks to get into full Ketosis, which was a little frustrating. And, if I cheated at all (I'm talking one glass of red wine) *BOOM!* Ketosis stopped and it took several days to restart.

I'm hoping that having more pre-packaged items will make life Thanks again for sharing!

You're welcome! I think newbies have to post a certain amount/be on the forum for a certain amount of days before they can PM. If you need any Diet Direct recommendations, let me know!

I hate to be the wet blanket, as I love a good money saving deal and have referred several people to Diet Direct for that referral money (people I know personally), but you may want to "cease and desist" on this thread as it violates Forum Rules and has to potential to lead to a deleted account.

***I am not a mod, I just happened to have gotten pegged once for not paying attention to those rules one time and one time only. I'm just trying to help***

BrittStar, my order came today! Just two days! I tried a few things and thought the taste was pretty darn good. I'm set for the next few weeks.

I also had a "lightbulb" idea. Rather than putting my food in the pantry with all our other food (and right in sight of the nuts - which I love), I cleared off a shelf in a closet that has no other food items in it. So, there's no temptation to grab somehting that's not on plan. Plus, this make my food seem a little more "special."

I feel bad that someone who is helping another member could get dinged. I think they should re-evaluate the PM function for new members. How are we supposed to get support? Just sayin'...

Support isn't the issue. They want and encourage support through interactive dialogue and such through the forum. What they don't want is the forum to become a money grabbing, advertising, and marketing set that pushes people away who want support. If you allow one person to do it, you set the the stage to have to be allowed to let everyone do it, in which case this is no longer a forum in which we are all given support and suggestions on how best to help our weight loss but instead, are all trying to get money or money saved in one way or another. The rules on this subject are in place not to punish new comers, but to keep all of us safe from scammers, marketing agents, and others who only want to make a quick buck regardless of our health.

As the old cliche goes...one bad apple spoils the bunch. And unfortunately, on the internet, we have millions of them (not implying you are one of them by any stretch, just that they are out there.)
