Once you get into ketosis, you will be amazed with your ability to sit next to a plate full of nachos followed by a plate of chocolate brownies that someone else is eating, and not be interested in the least. That has been my experience...off plan foods became about as exciting as cardboard.
The day I can sit next to a plate of brownies and not devour them will be a pretty amazing day! I am really excited to get to that point!

You're intro rings true for me! I am ready to lose the weight once and for all! I am 28 going on 29 and I have promised myself I will NOT turn 30 FAT! I start on 1/8 and cannot wait to get going. Good luck to you on your journey and I too look forward to the support on this site!
Hi Breezy! Good luck to you! I feel the same way, I think this is a really opportune time to do this. A lot of the time I feel like I wasted most of my twenties not doing the things I want because I didn't feel confident enough. They say 30 is the new 20 so I guess I get a do over!
Thanks, Gypsy! That's my grand baby and me, and the picture was taken right after her heart surgery in October (she is a preemie). She is growing super strong these days and is right on the verge of crawling. Everybody watch out!
I am new to this too. Started on Wed. Last night I was soooo wanting a glass of wine. Not food but my beloved wine. Had tea... Was good but not the same. Lol. I have at least 40 lbs to lose and am just sick about it. Just sick... I am so depressed with how I let myself go. I don't even wanna think about putting that swim suit on at Easter in Jamaica again. Hope this works because nothing else has!
