Newpath and Rainbowsmiles...THANK YOU! It was an amazing WI! Shooting for a repeat this week! It would be an amazing birthday present to myself...in addition to my new tattoo.

I love you both!

I really cant afford to blow up like i did with #1. Not because of vanity, but my back and pain management...i want to be as injury free as possible and my overweight/obese pregnancy really messed me up the first time!
LOL over the flush! Well i posted yesterday that i was up 5lbs which i think a lot was water retention. Yesterday i had a strict phase 1 day and last night i had 12cups of hot water and lemon (made a coffee pot full of hot water) and this morning i was down 3lbs so just want to tell everyone that the program keeps working even in maintenance.

Can't wait for you to be pregnant and hearing about it! And yes, its good to stay healthy during pgcy but i bet you're looking forward to wearing those cute little maternity dresses, lol.

I measured myself to see where i was compared to you yesterday. Chest we're about the same but i'm 2" more than you at the waist and hips and 1 1/2" more in the thighs. I'm usually in a size 3-4 so i guess that makes sense. Its funny cause to me, you are a world smaller than me, guess i still have lots of image issues. I have a lot of loose skin and that's all i see and loose skin to me = fat.

Been trying to find surf shorts to wear at the beach, its really hard to find some that are long enough to cover all the loose skin on my thighs...i wish i felt comfortable enough to show it but i just can't.

We're leaving for Wildwood in less than 2 weeks, the kids are SOO excited and so am I. Not looking forward to a 10-hour drive with 4 kids though, especially since we're leaving in the middle of the night....after a whole day's work, lol.

Have a great week-end everyone!

Oh and Lisa - Holly crap you're skinny girl! How does it feel when people refer to you as being small? To me it still doesn't sink in. When i see someone skinny walking by, i'll tell dh "oh i want to get small like that" and he tells me but you ARE or even sometimes smaller... weird..

Default Ketosis Question

So, I have a question about ketosis. I do think that I am the only weirdo that completely LOVES Ketostix. Instead of pinching myself, every time I feel like this couldn't possibly be a weight loss program, I pee on a stick! It has worked for me, and I am not addicted to the scale....in fact, I am trying really hard NOT to go out and buy one.
So, I had a really good WI this week, and lost an amazing 1% of fat. The day after WI, my Ketostix flat-lined, and I have put on two pounds...it was four! Yup, overnight. (Tom just left.) Iam not panicking because I know that this program works, but, I would just like to know if anyone else has had this happen. I have changed nothing. The only thing a bit different, is that I have been doing more errands and stuff...nothing to break a sweat.
Please do not pass judgement on me fellow IPeers......I PEE on a stick, and love it!!!!
Would love some information here.

Thanks! I just bought a bag of the white cheddar to try, but I have a bunch of the southwest cheese curls, I may have to try that! I was thinking about trying it with the crispy cereal, I've done rice krispy coating for chicken in the past so it should work, AND it would be unrestricted!

Woohoo! It is always so exciting for me to see how you all are doing. I want to run out into the street to shout about this diet. However, I have run into some opposition as friends think that it is too "radical". Heck, I am eating a more balanced diet than I have my whole life. The results speak for themself.

It is SOOOOOO helpful to me to lurk on the Maintainers Thread, still haven't posted until I have 'earned' my way to Phase 4 - but I follow y'alls chatter trying to get my preview. I went to Ann Taylor today and was in the fitting room next to some women talking about their size smalls and size 2s - and was next to them in line thinking how skinny they were and I realized that I was buying the same size clothes! Our perception of ourselves can be so skewed.

I have a fairly good amount of loose skin on my stomach, but I am pleased enough with my arms & legs to wear a one piece or tankini (I don't think a bikini is in my destiny, nor do I feel like I am missing out). I think the weightlifting is helping 'firm up' those areas - my stomach, well, I'm not super concerned about that right now since I am hoping to stretch it out - but man, it is not a pretty sight, luckily it just "tucks in" to my pants!

I'm 38 and have been overweight my entire life, so I'm not expecting some miracle skin cure. But hey, we are looking pretty sweet in our clothes - you look gorgeous in your avatar! My 20th high school reunion is coming up Sep 22nd, so reaching goal couldn't have come at a better time!

And I am totally stuffed my first day of Phase 2! Lump crab cakes for lunch and Ahi Tuna for dinner...I worked out so had 3 IPs today instead of 2 (bar, pudding waffles, & a shake). Holy food overload! I am really starting to dream about my first Phase 3 breakfast - went a little crazy on the Phase 3 breakfast thread...I still need to figure out "the details" for those recipes.

Wow, I didn't realize you and I are the same age, you look like you're in your 20's! Gives me lots of hope that I can hit my own goals before my 20th reunion in November

I know you do a lot of exercise now, when in the program did you start adding in exercise?
