ITA - especially malitol for me. Now I know to avoid a product if I find malitol in the ingredients.

Not to further complicate things, but aren't you supposed to take your cal mags at night? With supper, then snack? If you're taking them in the morning you may feel their effects that much more severely than if you're sleeping while they do their work at night?

Just a thought!

Ipdivajen -- I never heard that about cal-mags at night. I spread them throughout the day, usually between meals. I do take the multi Nd the potassiums with food. I also take omega three, usually first thing in the morning. I really do think it's the extra magnesium that was causing the problem for me. Isn't milk of magnesia a laxative? anyway, I very much appreciate the suggestions.

Yet another example of the different advice we all get! Sigh.

My sheet for phase one (and my coach) is pretty emphatic about taking them at supper and afterwards. Huh. Never really asked why but I wonder if it's tied to the impact magnesium can have? Will ask next time I see her!

Agreed. My Phase 1 Diet Plan sheet actually says right on it (at the bottom) to take as follows:

With Breakfast: 1 Natura Multi-Vita & 1 Natura Potassium-Calcium
Lunch: (none) - says to use sea salt with the meal
Dinner: 2 Natura Cal-Mag & 1 Natura Multi-Vita and use sea salt with meal
Snack (15 mins before bed): 2 Natura Cal-Mag

It would be interesting to know if there's a particular reasoning behind this scheduling.

My coach told me to take them in the evening because magnesium is calming and helps with sleep.

Thanks for the information on timing. I will try this. It's weird that we get different information. Also, are your handouts full of typos an editing mistakes? Mine tend to be. Seems sloppy to me. I'm down another pound today, but the whole thing seems ...squirrelly...
