Default blu/cran/pom as a third packet??

hi all!!

i've been using the blueberry/cranberry/pomegranate as one of the three packets for the day, but have been reading that's it's only meant to be used as a collagen boost and doesn't count towards one of the three necessary packets. any info on this??

also, i'm about halfway through week three and have been STARVING the last few days. has anyone else experienced this??

thank you for your help-- i stopped seeing my coach because he wasn't doing anything but weighing me on an old gnarly scale and charging me $100 for each visit!! i feel i'm in much better hands with all of you lovely ladies

My coach said the collagen packets are not complete proteins. They are "extra" and meant to be every-other-day. She said they shouldn't be counted as my 3 packets/day.

True story. If you compare ingredients on the boxes, there is not a complete protein included in the collagen products - they have protein because of the gelatin but it's not everything you need. I actually mixed a batch of the RAspberry jello with some rhubarb and had half a serving last night and the other half tonight as a snack NOT included in my 3 packets. I think that's what I'll be doing every day, that way I get the collagen for skin elasticity but I'm not overdoing it on the extra packets.

Oh and if my coach was charging me ANYTHING for each weigh in they'd have been fired from the start. You should not pay for weekly weigh ins!!!

Is there a recipe to "spruce up" the blue/pom/cran drink? Just wondering...

I chopped up a cup of fresh rhubarb and microwaved it in a bowl with a little water for about 2 minutes, until it was good and mushy. Then I mashed it with a fork, combined it with 4oz of hot water plus the 2 Tbsp of WF strawberry jam, and mixed until the jam was mostly dissolved. Then I just added the raspberry jelly packet, and mixed everything well, popped it in the fridge and it was enough for 2 good sized portions!
