Amy,

Have you considered dropping the coffee for a week or two, so you could you see if it would help? I've read many times on this forum in the past about peoples reactions to caffeine and how it slows their weight loss. I have to stick to no more then one cup a day or my loss will stop. I used to try to have 2 when I first started, but that wasn't working. Even now I wonder if I should give up my one amazing cup that I have...

Amy, you know 153 is still amazing! Think about that for a minute! You're having your TOM and you weigh 1 5 3... You're doing so well, give yourself credit.

Default Joining

Hi, Amy, I too think you did really well on the challenge so I'll accept your request (tiny challenge?) to join you here. I hope at least one or two others will, too. I'll post the week's menu here and update it at the end of the week with weights. Is that a good method, or would you prefer daily updates? If weekly, I may have to adjust vegetables depending on what I can get.

Sunday, 09/05** (163.8)
Breakfast – Strawberry Pudding, tea, skimmed milk
Lunch – Cappuccino drink, romaine, spinach, green onion
Dinner – 5 oz chicken breast, romaine, green pepper
Snack – Lemon Pudding
** Monotonous repetition of straw pudd and cappuccino = non-soy

Monday, 09/06 (164)
Breakfast – Strawberry Pudding, tea, skimmed milk
Lunch – Cappuccino drink, romaine, celery, green onion
Dinner – 5.5 oz salmon, spinach, 1 clove garlic
Snack – Chocolate Pudding

Linden, I wasn't in the Labor Day challenge, as I was still getting my sea legs when it started.

FYI - it doesn't matter, but just so you know, we usually post what we ate rather than what we're planning on eating.

And I don't usually count the stuff I dreamed I ate, like the two Ritz crackers from last night.

Amy, you brought Linden! How'd you do that? Oh who cares how you did it, you did it!

Welcome Linny!!! You know what you're eating that far in advance??? Heck I don't even know what I'm having for dinner yet!

Thanks for the speedy answer. I've emended this week's menu. And about these food dreams, ritz crackers, popcorn, ice cream. Yum. The closest I've come is dreaming I stood in front of a huge calderon of romaine, the size of a boiler for a big building, enough for everyone here, and I had to tear up all of it. Twist and tear. Twist and tear. My daily exercise, I guess.

Thanks so much!!!-----The electronic print out scale showed that I have lost 8 pounds of fat since my last weigh in 6 wks ago, but am retaining a lot of water.
