Well thats just based off your current weight. You could always shoot for that number. But if you don't make it, it will be okay

I don't think you really need to shoot for that number off the bat. Aiming for it now will probably lead you to eat more calories than you normally would/should just to reach it.

I've always heard the .8 kg calculation based off of lean mass as fat doesn't need protein. The RDA for women is about 50 grams, men slightly higher. Generally, if you get 50 to 100 grams, you are good.

I believe the formula should be for "lean" body weight, not total body weight.

Weight in pounds divided by 2.2 = weight in kg
Weight in kg x 0.8-1.8 gm/kg = protein gm.
