Default NSV, dropped a size

I've been a bit discouraged with my weight loss stall, and at my size I didn't really think that losing inches without losing pounds was possible, but apparently it is, as I've dropped a size even though I haven't dropped any weight.

I ordered some casual knit tops and pants online in "my size" (4X) and I ordered a size lower also, because the deals were so good (normally, I don't intentionally buy smaller).

The order came today and I tried everything on and the 3X's fit perfectly (so I'm glad I ordered them). The 4X's are perfect for jammies.

I'm so excited. I've been able to wear some 3X tops before, but this is the first time I've been able to wear a 3X bottom. (I measured my hips and they're 3" smaller than they were the last time I measured them - which was still at this same weight).

Oh yes the measurements really do help measure progress!

Congrats on fitting into the "too small" clothes

That's so terrific. The greatest thing about the journey is that there are so many little things every week to remind us all of how good we're doing. I am so happy for you.

How wonderful! Maybe you're losing fat and gaining muscle (which weighs more, but takes up less space!)

Yay, that's awesome. If your weight hasn't changed, that means you're just putting on lean muscle!

I have been stalled at my weight too, which is really irritating, but i measured myself last week- and I have lost 1 1/2" from my waist. I think losing inches is an even bigger accomplishment than the scale going down.
