I love knitting, but I can't crochet- I'd love to learn though!

I like making small little toys that I don't know what to do with :P
But I also enjoy making hats, scarves, bags, purses, and I'm making a coat, but I havent worked on it in months since it's so warm out now

Homebound those are MARVELOUS! And I too dabble in quilting and sewing but I would love to crochet. I have tried but my stitches are so uneven!

Homebound ~ those are very pretty. I am a crafter, but I never could get the hang of crochet or knitting. I tried crocheting my daughter a baby blanket (a giant granny square) when she was a baby ~ it ended up being a doll blanket (I got bored and frustrated). She is now grown and expecting baby number two. She used to crochet some when she was younger - an aunt taught her. She is on unofficial bed rest (do and move as little as possible) due to pregnancy complications so I sent her a box of yarn (a variety of colors) with a "learn to crochet" kit and a "learn to knit" kit. She is crocheting a baby blanket for the new baby (I sent her another box of yarn yesterday so she'll have enough of the same yarn for the blanket). She doesn't have much time to finish it - they are going to take the baby by c-section most likely at 36 weeks (June 14). I am hoping it will rekindle her love of crochet and get her to learn how to knit (she's been watching you tube videos to help figure it out). It is a dying art I wish I could learn. I sew some, but nothing fancy. I have big plans for my craft/scrapbook room, once I get it put together. BTW ~ I would love to see pictures of your t-shirts. It would be fun to see pictures from everyone of what they make. The main thing I do is paint primitive signs. I made hair bows for while, but ended up giving that up ~ actually, I've dabbled in a lot of different crafts over the years (pouty dolls, fairy wings, dress-up stuff for little girls, wands, halos, gift baskets, etc.). It depends on what I'm in the mood to make.

I knit, learned when I was about ten, but am not all that good considering, LOL. I can make a pretty good blanket, scarves, baby hats, etc. but can't do anything like sweaters

I'm a knitter, but I'm a lazy knitter. I'm the world's best scarf knitter though, I like projects that don't mean I have to think, so I tend to make scarves, purses, bags... easy things.

I also got given a spinning wheel for my birthday and have got very into it, I just need to sort out a workroom so I don't get asked to stop spinning because it sounds like I'm dragging a dead body across the floor!

I started knitting after last Christmas and really like it.

So far I've made 8 scarves and some wash cloths. Have knit a number of different patterns.

Used to do a lot of sewing but kind of lost interest.

I do both....though I haven't done anything in awhile! My favorite is probably just Knitted Dishrags! My Favorite finished piece is the Lord's Prayer!

I just started crocheting and I've made two dishrags (b/c I can't wait to make them really cute so I can give htem away as gifts..I'm thinking big ribbon wrapped around them with a bar of soap and cute little flower

I also made a small circle type thing with bright pink yarn that looks like a ball of fish eggs for my boyfriend (he's a fishing guide) and he went out and caught a salmon with it! So, maybe I'll start making those and selling them haha

I just knitted potholders/dishrags. I can do a decent knit purl but just for useful items, not for "pretty things." I made a large Jute square and think I would like to knit a jute rug one day. I love my jute square and use it a a trivet.
