Well the Bruins won their first game, and I missed it! I rely on DH for game dates, and I think he totally spazzed on it.

OKAY!!!!!!!!!!! The 'Canes have played their first two games and WON THEM BOTH!!! Beat Florida 6-4 Friday night, and Tampa Bay 4-3 last night ... both come-backs ... WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!! Detroit comes in tomorrow night ... I think we'd better NOT get 2 or 3 down and try to come back on them!

The Bruins tied Montreal on Wednesday night and lost in the shoot-out. Hey, at least we came back from 3-0! We still get a point for making it to overtime... right?

Gosh, techwife, when Washington and Buffalo play each other ... is there any way you can both lose??? Just kidding ... our guys are looking lousy, letting the Oilers get away with one yesterday, and they had lost five straight!!! Figures they'd muster up the energy to beat US! Today, it's the Maple Leafs ... we'll see how that one goes, but our old guys and new guys just don't seem to be meshing so well (and we have four major guys injured.)

Laviolette is on the hot seat; he'd better find a way!

Is anyone here a Dallas fan? I watched the Bruins/Stars game Saturday night (which was AWESOME btw, Bruins won something like 5-1) and I gotta say that a lot of those Dallas players displayed some REALLY unsportsman-like conduct. I was shocked that the refs didn't make a lot more calls, but the frustration was obvious by the third period with all the fights breaking out. More calls earlier on would have kept that from happening. Anyone else see any games lately like that?

After the 1999 Stanley Cup playoffs, game seven, Dallas is the team I hate the most and always will be. I hate Brett Hull. I don't hate the fans, just the team. And Brett Hull.
