Default My mom is at peace

Mom passed on Monday evening. My sister and I were holding her hands as she drew her last breath. Since Mom wanted to be at home, we had to have round the clock care. The hospice nurse was with us and she was singing Amazing Grace, Mom's favorite.

She's no longer in pain.

Thank you to all of you for your prayers. I hope to be home next week sometime.

I am sorry for your loss and yet happy for you and your mom that she is no longer in pain. What an incredible hospice nurse it seems you had!

So sorry for your loss -- I'm sure it meant a lot to her to be at home and with her girls. Take care and I hope you find comfort in the memories you have of her.

Mare, please accept my sympathies for your loss. I know it's not much of a comfort, but it sounds like she left this world exactly as she wanted to.

I'm sorry for your loss... but how wonderful for your mom to have had you two there as she said goodbye to this world. To pass on, being surrounded by your loved ones... to me, that's what makes life worthwhile.

May God bless & keep you during this difficult time.

I am sorry for the loss of your mom. But knowing that she passed with her daughters by her side was probably all she could want. Hang in there.

Mare, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I'm glad you were able to be with her, and even though you had time to prepare, it doesn't make it any easier.
