I made a great low cal veggie soup yesterday. It works out to 6 large servings for just about 200 calories. Its very filling, nutricious and
quick...I'd like to share it with you all. Get out a large soup pot and just add all of these ingredients and let it simmer for about 2hr.
1 box light chicken broth
1 box veggie broth
1 bag frozen soup vegtables
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 can kidney beans
1 small chopped onion
2 cups chopped cabbage
simmer and spice it up with your favorite seasonings, I used
garlic powder,onion powder,salt,pepper,parsley, cilantro,basil and hot sauce
(about 8 drops)
shortly before its done add 1.5 cups of whole grain pasta of your liking.
Top your bowl off with1 tsp Romano cheese.
This is very filling and yummy! I immeadiatly divided it into 6 refrigerator containers easy to take to work or pop in the microwave for a quick meal.
