Default Check out this bread!

I used to live in the San Diego area and frequented a small local bakery in Julian called Julian Bakery. A couple of weeks ago I looked them up and found that they are now making a whole host of healthy bread options including low carb, vegan, and gluten free options. I placed an order for their Carb Zero bread and their Paleo Almond Bread. It was delicious! I made low carb french toast with the almond bread and the regular Carb Zero bread was amazing toasted or as a sandwich. Yum yum, love my bread! Just kind of a pain that there are no retailers carrying the bread around here. Some of you may live close to a store carrying their products.

Just thought I would spread the word- this is not an endorsement or anything, just a nice find that I thought others should know about!

Wow, neat stuff! I just sent the link to a friend of mine - she has multiple food allergies - wheat, soy, dairy, yeast, corn are the ones I remember - and she hasn't eaten bread in years. I think she could actually eat the Paleo breads.

I'm looking forward to trying them once I'm eating bread again.

Shipping to Canada is $80.00, haha, oh well. Thanks for the find though, hope I can find something like it up here!

Glad you guys like it!

Virgiea- it's located in a beautiful little town called Julian. You must stop by when you are in the area!

EricAnn- that's nuts! Maybe when they get more business they'll expand.

Shipping is crazy! However there is a place on the way to work (well, sorta) that carries their bread. I wouldn't mind giving their coconut bread a try
