A big part of my healthy eating plan is to have HUGE, colorful, crunchy salad several times a week. I usually buy the bagged lettuces in different varieties. I recently bought Napa cabbage to chop and add into my lettuce mix each morning. I keep it in a separate Ziploc baggie and mix my salad ingredients each morning before work. This has worked out really well for me as it adds great crunch and variety to my salad. The Napa also keeps for several days and doesn't go to waste.
Just wanted to share in case anyone is looking for some variety in their salads.
