Default Fasta Pasta

Anything on Amazon that has more than a hundred reviews and the average is 5 out of 5 almost has to be good.

This is. I had actually never heard of it but was looking for items to do the 4 for 3 promotion. We just tried it and it worked awesome. Simple, much quicker than boiling a bunch of water, and probably saved a lot of energy.

Only problem is if you have more than I would say 3 people might have to use it in 2 batches. Anyhow search on Amazon if you like pasta (and nowadays it is easy to find 100% whole wheat pasta the only kind we eat) this is a neat and inexpensive thing to have.

Wonder if you have to have a large microwave oven for it to work? It looks pretty big.

I think it would fit in almost any size microwave oven. It is maybe 10 inches long (note on Amazon it says 11.5 so I guess that is its length). If your microwave rotated and it wasn't very deep perhaps it might stick, but I think it would still work. Certainly length wise without rotation it would fit in most microwaves.

Note on my first post. I just found a whole lot of leftovers from the other night. It can cook pasta for 4 easy.

Bumping this up because it is just one of the best value gadgets I have ever used. Since writing this have used it a bunch more times. Cooks perfect pasta every time. Uses less water, less energy. Doesn't cost much to buy. Easy clean up. Just the perfect gadget if you cook pasta and we love to cook whole wheat pasta. Just one of those things, simple, effective, cost savings, environmental savings, inexpensive, small to store, has the whole package.
