Thanks for the replies and the research information! Maybe it is just in my head!

I wish that I could just stop drinking it altogether. I have decreased my soda intake a lot...I went from about 3-4 sodas a day to 1. So, maybe in the future I will cut it out completely.

I will have to try the Cherry flavored Coke Zero and the Diet Pepsi Max. I like the taste of either diet or regular.

I think what I am going to do is drink the 100 calorie cans when I am short on calories, and really try to stick to the diet otherwise. If it is not impacting my weight loss, I will probably keep drinking the regular...but not everyday!

it's definitely not in your head starzzy. I was reading an article today and it talked about how artificial sweeteners in foods did NOT aid weight loss! Instead, it makes your body's metabolism messed up, so when you eat regular sugar your body saves as much as it as it can. The article went on for two pages and also said most experts advice against it when talking about weight loss. This is what i read any way! scary stuff! I'm definitely going to be keeping away from sweetners from now on

I love soda as well but now i only drink half a 12oz sprite with dinner and the rest of the day it's water or a mild lemonade mix.
