I'm loving level 2!! Though it's TOM time so I am not really jumping or doing them strenuously.
I dunno what it is but I look forward to doing the 30DS everyday cause Jillian makes it look so simple.. All you need it your own will power to do it, that's it! Somehow, I don't get the same feeling while at the gym using all those big machines.. but actually getting down on my hands and feet n moving makes me feel like YES, I am doing something and this is going to count!

Anyone else get that feeling?

Please....tell me there are no jumping jacks in Level 2. Have I mentioned before how very much I loathe jumping jacks?

I have been retaining water, from getting dehydrated from sweating so much from exercising. I sweat a lot, as I get a good work out from 30 day Shred, and I have to remember to drink extra water, so that I do not retain water.

Level 2 is my favorite level. After I finish exercising with Jillian, I feel energize. She is very motivating, and I feel in control when I exercise at home. And I do not have to push myself, unless I want to push myself, because I know there is not anyone watching me to judge me.

Novus
That is why I cannot do level 1, there are too many jumping jacks! And my knees were in pain. Level 2 is a lot easier on the knees and I think level 2 is challenging but a lot easier.

Colleensuzanne

You will amaze yourself at how fast you adjust each day.

Oh, that's naughty.

I hate jumping jacks because they make all my jiggly bits jiggle.

Candidcamster - welcome!! it's alright if you've never done any video before. Jillian is so motivating even though she says 'I want you to feel like you are going to die' LOL
you can start with little movements and let your body build the endurance and strength over time. you dont HAVE to kill yourself but it's only 20 mins and each circuit is split so well into 3 mins cardio, 2 mins strength and 1 min abs, you wont even realize your 20 mins are up!
Good luck, you can do it!!

Welcome to the madness!

I'll be honest...you might find this workout quite challenging at your weight, though that depends on your fitness level. BUT don't let that stop you from trying! Do what you can.

One of the girls in the video does modifications of the moves, so you can try those. A lot of the stuff is basic exercise movements so you could possibly find even easier modifications online. Like, if you can't do regular push-ups or girlie push-ups, wall push-ups are another option.

Welcome!

Do what you can, the important thing is to keep moving. Even you march in place and do some exercises with your weights.

Congratulations on losing those inches!

Novus

Congratulations on losing pounds and inches!

I need to increase my water intake because I have been retaining water. And my arms are sore from using the weights when exercising.

When I did my measurements this morning, I was actually kinna disappointed. The changes seem so tiny. But then I pondered it and I realized...

1. Doh. It's only been 2 weeks. I don't think it's possible to lose like 10 inches from your waist in 2 weeks.

2. The amount of change I saw in 2 weeks is what I normally experience in a month. That's pretty significant when you think about it!

3. The numbers may be small but I can actually feel the difference. You know how when you sit down you can kinna feel your fat poof out (ew!)? I feel that less than I used to. And I don't have quite the same need to arrange my clothing to disguise my lumpiness. Yep, the muscles are firming up. Yay!

In other news. Today is supposed to be cardio day. But I feel like my body is fighting off some sort of illness/bug/virus thingy. Not really sick but my body wants some extra TLC so as to not get sick. My immune system is at war so I'm laying low and taking a rest day.
