Well Northern CA is finally getting winter weather again. It is in the 50's and we will have rain and high winds all week. I just took my 2.5 mile walk and I had to dodge palm fronds that were flying everywhere. No wonder there was hardly anyone else walking.
Sorry this is quick... I've been sick for the last week and haven't really done anything worth posting I am feeling much better, however, and plan on doing a crazy workout tomorrow. Ill catch up with you then!
Thanks, Cathy, my knees are kind of off-and-on. They will be fine and then one move will cause a twinge. I had to stop with the boosted walking this morning and go back to low impact. But definitely not as bad as last week. Still considering making an appt. w/ the ortho doc. Considering that it may take a month to get in.....I should go ahead and make an appt. and then cancel if they get better. Not sure if I will.
Did the about 4.5 miles of the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk this morning. Had to finish and get ready for work.
Any 5 mile walks you all recommend?? I kind of get tired of this one.

Yesterday - 3-Mile Weight Loss Walk (miles 1&2), 2.5 mile walk at lunch, weights and crunches
Yesterday my 19-month old granddaughter had casts placed on both legs. Her tendons are shortened in her legs (she walks on her tippy toes) and this "serial casting" will help stretch the tendons. She goes in every week to have the casts removed, her foot adjusted up a bit more and then the casts go back on. The casting will only last about three weeks and then she will be wearing a brace on each leg for a couple of months. I went with my DD to the appt and my granddaughter, Emma was such a good girl. I just hate seeing my kids or grandkids go through something like this. Aghh. I think it was harder on my DD and I then our baby girl.
Annie - sounds like your knees are making sure they get noticed hope you continue to get better. the only other 5 mile walks that I know of are the 5 Mile Advanced Walk (that is the oldest one) and the 5 Day Slim Down. I like all of them.
Toonses - I totally feel your pain with your granddaughter. It is so hard to watch our children have to deal with anything out of the norm. I pray she's be such much better when they are done. hugs!
