A woman on a Facebook weight loss group said anything 0-6 she considered "ultra skinny".i couldn't help but laugh since I'm an 8 and my goal is 2-6.

I'm doing great - very busy with a lot of fun, holiday-related stuff. I LOVE this time of year!

Vacations are the best, aren't they?

Welcome, Raisin5Cookies! I agree that the last bit is the hardest. My theory is that the last fat has been there so long, and gotten so cozy, it's kind of more "stuck" than the more recently acquired fat. Sorry for all the scientific terminology, lol. Glad you're aboard, at any rate!

It's funny how different weights are different sizes, even on someone the same height as someone else. I'm on the small side of a 2 in most things, but in things that come in a 00 I'm a 0. Super thin bone structure though.

Haha, thanks! I like that way of thinking, considering I'm getting close to being the lightest I've been my entire adult life (gulp), it's definitely been hanging around a while.

I don't weigh myself, but I have noticed several NSVs this week - my rings are getting looser, my size UK14 jeans are fitting nicely without a gigantic muffin top (just a smallish one instead!), my butt is smaller, and my core strength is awesome. I just changed up my exercise routine, and I'm doing some stuff that would have been really hard for me to do a few months ago. Now it's only challenging, not impossible!

Ultimate goal is to reach size UK8.

If I shop at Ann Taylor, whose clothes I love, I'm a two.

Yay for NSVs! Btw, what is a UK8 in US sizes? I need to come up with a mnemonic device to remember that...

UK sizes are about two sizes bigger than US, but not always. I've noticed the difference is only one size in the larger sizes and two sizes in the smaller sizes. size. size. size.

So right now I'm probably a 12 in the US, but when I get into UK 8, I'll probably be more like a 4. *mind blown*

I love Ann Taylor/LOFT sizing!!!!

I bought a faux leather skirt yesterday at Loft in a size 0. Size 0!!!! I think the skirt had a bit of stretch. I told my hubby that I had to buy it, and he was like ok....

Men don't get women logic with sizing.

I got a gorgeous white, lined skirt there during the summer. They just have those classic clothes you can wear forever - and they'll last that long! Also found out that a peplum can be very flattering - I don't think I've ever owned one or even tried one on before!

I am a LOFT, Express and Nordstrom addict.

Peplum, I don't know what it is, but I think this looks great on others, just not me. I think it is a self image thing because I feel like it always adds weight to my midsection. I probably just need to get over it and embrace this trend.

Aaaahhh! I have landed firmly into size 14 this week on my bottom half and size 12 on top. Today I bought a size 10 top, too!! It fits nicely on my arms and everything. Obviously sizing is whackadoodle and I'm really not that disproportionate (I'm an hourglass), but it still gives my ego a boost to wear a size 10 tag, haha!!

I am finally releasing my size 18 jeans into the wild. I have two 14 jeans and am belting my 16s. I literally danced around the house wearing my cute small clothes today!

Raisin5Cookies, congrats on your clothing sizes! Going shopping for new clothes was what finally convinced me that I was losing weight and inches!

I went from a size 12 to a size 10 and in some cases, even an 8! And I went from a large to a medium in tops, something I thought would never happen!

Such a good feeling!

It is really weird to be moving down sizes, because even though the evidence is staring me in the face with smaller clothes and such, I still don't "see" it in the mirror all the time. I'm getting better at it, though. It's going to be super weird when my daughter and I get into similar sizes.
