Mini-mini goal achieved!
I am so excited I might burst! It is a small triumph, but today I hopped on the scale and I have finally broken free of the 130s! I am barely there--129, but it feels so good. This means I have lost a total of 8 pounds since I faced reality after 9 months of stress eating and got on the scale this past May.
Here is what I did: worked out a TON over the summer to the point where I won a half marathon and a triathlon; quit high fructose corn syrup; began looking at portion control; quit eating out so much; got away from the candy at work that I was scarfing in order to control anxiety.
I am very happy! My goal is to be back to the low 120s by my 30th b-day...coming up in just a few months.
