Dagmar: I noticed you didn't actually say that you HAD a cold, but the idea of trying a cold remedy sounds like it makes a lot of sense... It warms you up and makes you feel good, and that's what we're all about around here, right?

If you do have a cold, though, and want to clear your sinuses, there's a yoga pose that works great for that. Sit with your legs out and lean back on your elbows. Then arch your back and put the crown of your head on the floor. I haven't tried it for sinuses, but I've been told it works wonders. They say you're supposed to do that after the shoulder stand (a hand stand, but on your shoulders and neck with your hands supporting your body weight). Heh, I like yoga.

bargoo: LOL I must agree!! What a great idea

JerseyGirl83: Hey! I live near Philly, too! I live on the other side, though, NW of Philly (about 20-25 minutes on I-76). That's pretty awesome! It's pretty hard to stay on track when they bring hoagies and pretzels into the office...

MadelineinVA: Yea, I'm trying to get back to pre-bf weight, too. The day before I met him I was 140 (current GW) and when I broke up with him 2.5 years later I was 170!! I hate bfs for that, lol!

Anyway, I had a couple crappy days this week, indulging a bit. I gained a pound or two, but I lost it by this morning, which was good. Then again, my weight used to fluctuate like that daily (it's been pretty steady on a day-to-day basis since I started exercising and losing weight). I'm holding steady at 150.5 lately, which is okay for me. I finally broke into 150 territory, so I'm really happy about that. I don't want to lose weight too fast, so I'll start working towards 145 next week. Still managing to work out 3x a week. Haven't pulled off 4x yet, but I'm okay with that. One of my goals is to not beat myself up about slip-ups, but rather do something about it.

I like these weekly threads. I can discuss my progress without starting up my own thread. Thanks for this!

Hi girls,

I have had a very busy week (yuck), and I never got around to posting. I only lost .25 lbs. at my friday BL weigh in (at work). Not great, but then again, it was the first day of my period, so I'd like to think it would've been more if I didn't have the extra water weight.

Anyway - hope all of you had a good week. Dagmar - feeling better?

Ok,I'm going to finish my steel cut oatmeal with blackberries, flax, and walnuts and head out for some errands.

Have a great day, ladies!
