Starting tomorrow, on the days I'm not doing my 60-min cardio sessions (every other day) I will do 10-min cardio warm-up and then I will start weight training. The cardio counts towards my minutes goal, the weight training does not. Gosh, moving feels SOOOO good! ;-)
Also, today is my WI day...I will be going in about 1/2 hour (I go to Weight Watchers). Wish me luck!
I went to the gym tonight not feeling very like doing much of anything. In fact, what got me to go at all was that earlier in the day my DH - who has a head cold - told me he'd done 50 minutes on the How could I - feeling fine - opt out of the gym because "I didn't feel like it?" So once there I had several options - , elliptical, or a body pump class. I went for the class as I knew I'd work a lot harder there than I'd push myself on the others. And I did. Lots of squats and lunges, deadlifts, tris, bis and shoulders, followed by lots of ab work. My poor body - I'll be sore tomorrow, but it was a good workout. I still need to do some more cardio this week, but I think my weight work is done.
