Default Clueless about weight loss routines

Hello,

I have all this exersize equipment at home, and now I'm not sure what to do with it. I know that we're supposed to mix it up between weight lifting and cardio...but how?

Right now I do a half hour on the eliptical trainer ( I use a preformated program, the 2nd hardest one), and 100 situps on the stability ball.).

Bike riding is kind of hard around here because it's summer and tourist season, and cars everywhere. You're stopping so much at lights that it's not super effective. I use my bike more for leisure than an intense work out. I have lots of free weights, but I'm not sure what to do with those, such as how many lunges, squats, french presses, ect should a person do?

I have no access to a pool, or huge weight lifting room. I just have the free weights.

There are some pilates tapes I have, but I never felt that much of a work out from pilates, as far as muscle soreness or anything like that, I would always feel like I did it wrong, since it didnt' seem like I was doing anything, so I havent' been doing that much either....

For the record: I am 26, five seven, I weigh 155 and I wear a size 8-10 pants...so I'm not that fat, I'm heavy, though, and I notice where I could get rid of some girth, and yeah....I'm trying not to look at the high number on the scale, but....well, that's for another day.

Apologies for starting a new thread about this. It's been a few months since I"ve been here, and my searches didnt' bring up much, I found out what I should have, but not how to organize it, go about it

I'm just clueless about going about this...any advice would be appreciated.
