So close to being able to do a 5k open swim
Actually I'm pretty far from being able to do an open swim but I keep telling myself that I'm really close and just have to get a little bit better lol. I do believe that my recent discovery that I LOVE swimming has helped me meet my first weight loss mini goal. I do laps every other day, alternating between focusing on form, speed, and endurance. I use fins and paddles for strength training. I try to focus on different muscle groups by focusing on different strokes but it doesn't always work out that way because I am the best at the breaststroke and other strokes frustrate me.
Does anyone else use swimming as their primary form of exercise?
