1. Do you have the rest for a minute in between reps?
2. I follow a weight lifting plan for beginners from bodybuilding.com but feel like im not doing enough per day. Im sore but its prob cause im big and just starting out.
3. Each day i finish in like 35 minutes. Is that normal?
4. Anybody have a website they go to with beginner workouts?
Do you have to rest between reps? Generally yes a short rest is customary. Depending on how hard the exercise is I rest anywhere between 10-30 seconds. If the exercise is easy I don't rest at all just so that I can keep my calorie burn high and the momentum going. I find that bodybuilders rest a lot but spend hours at the gym. I'm a Mom, I need to be done on the quick lol.
35 minutes of exercise is vague. It's what happens during that 35min that counts. Are you working hard? Are you sweating? Are you accomplishing what you set out to do? 35 of what?
im following a plan by jamie easton from bodybuilding.com its for beginners. i started with a 5lb weight since ive never done weight lifting. I do the weights then 20mins of cardio after than walk for 30 mins outside
i cannot do push ups. may seem stupid but theres way to much weight to hold up. i used the wall yesterday and it was easier for me. im working to make sure im careful with what i do.
