I have exerience with running on treadmills... cement... tracks... grass, etc. The beach/sand - not so much. Is anyone here familiar with it? Anything I should change when making the switch? I am going to visit a friend at her beach house this weekend. There is no gym around so I figured I would try something new & run on the beach. Wear the same shoes? Go barefoot? Any suggestions are appreciated.
As a side question: I also would like to pick up one of those arm bands for my phone (which doubles as my mp3 player). I see places to order them online but I doubt it'd get here by Fri AM. Any big chain places that sell them?
