So... I ran my first 10k race yesterday morning. I wanted to do it in under 1:30 and I ASSUMED I would be last. (Which was fine by me - I just wanted to DO it.)
at 3 miles - my time was 33:26
at 4 - it was 46:46 (I don't think I have ever done four miles that fast)
Then... came mile marker 5. From #5 to #6 it was ALL UP HILL. Gah! It was rough.
But I finished with a time of 1:18:40
And there were TWO people behind me! (Yay! I wasn't last!!)
Ok... I am ready to do another one!!
