Plain and simple, What are your exercise goals?
Mine are:
1. Be able to do one chin up (my arms are sooo weak!)
2. Stick with my 4 day a week plan for one month, I'm taking it one month at a time.
3. Long Term: Complete a sprint triathalon next summer
I know a lot of people reward themselves for weight loss goals, do you reward yourself for exercise/fitness goals? I am trying to concentrate on getting in shape and not so much on the number on the scale this time around.
Walk at least 30 minutes every day.
1 hike per week (1 snow shoe per week in winter)
6 hikes next summer.
Reward is usually more lululemon or other workout clothes or hiking gear.
Real reward, standing on top of a mountain with my dad and feeling awesome.
Mine is to run a 5k. I am doing the C25K program now and hopefully I should start running them in January. I usually do not reward my fitness goals but I think its really a good idea!
My goals:
Tone, tone, tone. Become stronger every week.
Run a 5km next spring
Bike 200 km, broken into 4 50km rides every day. Doing part of the Trans Canada trail next spring/early summer.
