I have the TransFIRMer, and I often have to modify my workouts for the old videos that use the Fanny Lifter. The incline is typically used for lunges and chest & ab work. You can easily just use the short portion of the FL for lunges and lay on the floor for chest work. I actually hate laying on the incline for chest and work, so my boyfriend suggested using an exercise ball - which really works for me! (Not all of the ab work can be done on the ball though!)
I would say - just go with it and be creative. Try things and do what feels good for your body. You will learn what works for you!
