Teeli Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Posts: 8	Nordic Walking Poles I bought a pair of these from Trademe online... and they are fabulous. They are basically ski poles that you use on sand, pavement, gravel, whatever. You can't fall over ( which I CAN without them) because they give you balance and support..I have done several 3 hour tramps with them, in rocky ravines and alongside rivers etc.I have also used them on the beach.They give you an upper body workout as well....I honestly wouldn't be without them now!
