Default Chicken Cordon Bleu

4 Chicken Breasts, boneless
1 or 2 slices of Virginia Baked Ham ( You can get this sliced ham as a cold cut in the Deli Section)

1 or 2 slices of LF Swiss Cheese

Add a slice of ham to the chicken
Add a slice of swiss on top*
If you use 2 slices, simply layer.

Use a baking dish , cover bottom with water or chicken stock.
Bake the chicken at 350 until near done.
If you don't like your cheese very melted, add the swiss at the end of baking, lowering the heat to 325 for the last 10 minutes

A fancy method is to pound the chicken thin, add the ham and cheese and a slice of bacon if you wish and roll it up. Skewer it and bake seam side down.

Default

I modified this and it was tasty! I spread Laughing Cow cheese on each chx breast, topped it with ham and the topped that with slivered, fresh jalapeno. The only thing I didn't do that I wished I had was to use the chx broth- I think that would have made the chicken even more flavorful.

Yum!
