I don't always write down and track calories on paper, (usually I do, but some days I forget) but I always keep a running tally in my head. Throughout my weight loss I kept my calories at 1200-1400 and managed to avoid plateaus through zig-zagging when necessary. I really focused on eating better, I used to eat such crap before, I had no idea! Now I try to look at all my food as fuel and treat it as such! Exercising 5 times a week focusing on at least 45 minutes of cardio then some weight training also has really helped, & I'd like to think I have greater muscle definition now.
