Who's up for an April challenge?

It's pretty simple and straight-forward and anyone can join!
Just share your current weight and goal weight for April 30, along with at least one habit you would like to form and stick with during the month of April.

Try to keep us posted with your progress at least once a week.

  1. Exercising 5 days a week
  2. Drinking 6-8 bottles of water daily (or more)

Ok i am in.

Weight 177 goal 172

Habits: Keep up with the exercising on a regular basis. Started with that in march and did pretty good and do not want that to fall by the wayside.

hi id also like to join i tried to lose previously but failed and became a scale addict so my goals are
1.to lose 3 inches off my waist
2.exercise regularly
3.drink water
4.stay away from scale

My goals are to:

Not eat wheat for the month so I can see if it improves my overall health.

Exercise 3 times a week (shouldn't be hard I do Kung Fu 2x per week, but somehow it is )

Continue drinking over 64 oz of water per day so I have done it for over 6 weeks and am on my way to making it a habit.

OK I would LOVE to be into the 170's by the end of April. I am currently 185.8 and want to get to 179 by the end of the month. I weigh in every Saturday so I will update this process then


habits I would like to form would be stop drinking soda, and try new healthy foods

First day of April everyone!!! I'm determined to do some damage over the next 30 days... I just ordered Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred. Not expecting to lose the proclaimed 20 pounds in 30 days... just hoping for 7!! I also have my Turbo Jam DVDs... so I have no excuses! Maybe I'll get a couple more DVDs this month as a positive reward.

BTW....Anyone watching American Idol tonight? Go little cutie David Archuleta!!

I would love to join this challenge! My current weight is 201.6. By the end of April I would be thrilled if I could finally say that I weigh less that 200. (I don't remember the last time that has happened! I can't wait!) I am aiming for 197. My goals are to become more aware of the foods I am eating and to praise the small, positive changes I am making rather than to focus on the negative. Thanks so much for setting this challenge! So how's everybody doing so far? Yesterday was definitely OP with exercise and water, but I had some trouble with dessert at the end of the day! I always come to the end of the day and sort of sabotage my efforts by overeating. Any advice on how to overcome this?

I'm totally committed to making April a turning point for myself!!! Let's do it together!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to have something sweet at the end of the day, but I work it into my plan. I will typically have a VitaTop (chocolate)-- these are one point (I do WW) and they help my cravings. If you are trying to avoid sweets altogether, perhaps a yogurt or some fruit in the evenings?

I'm off to the gym in a few minutes.

And I still don't think I'm getting in enough water, so I'l ramp that up as well.
