Default My safe ice cream "binge"

Ever feel like eating an entire pint of ice cream? Do this often during binges? I know if I keep a pint of regular ice cream in the house I end up binging on it, some thousand calories at least.
Enter Arctic Zero. 180 calories or less for an entire pint! Look this stuff up! Its expensive and doesnt have the exact same texture as ice cream but if Im going to sit and eat an entire pint of something 180 beats 1,800 any day!

I have heard about this, but haven't seen it in my local stores. I will look harder next time though!!!

With ice cream I try to keep it light with single servings. Yasso frozen greek yogurt bars are delish and creamy. Friendly's also has sundae cups that are decadent and satisfying if you can eat them slow, to savor them... and just one. Starbucks and Ben & Jerrys also have mini pints, at 1 servings. My local natural store has frozen chocolate covered bananas. YUM!

I love me some dessert!

I wanted to like Arctic Zero so much. The calorie count is great but it just didn't have enough flavor for me. I have tried both the chocolate and the maple vanilla so it's possible I just picked the wrong flavors.

It's probably for the best that I didn't love it; too pricey for me!

A frozen food processed banana still takes the cake for me and my four year old. It's her "favorite ice cream."

Take one ripe banana, peel, cut it into pieces, throw the pieces into a baggie and freeze. Throw the entire thing into a small processor and enjoy as is OR add in:
Peanut butter (blend again after adding)
Nutella (blend again after adding)
Chocolate chips
Nuts

I like mine with 1/2T natural peanut butter and my daughter likes it with Nutella or chocolate chips.

If it's the potato flavor you're going for, baked fries work well. If it's salt or crunch, there are so many options out there. I like to eat veggies with hummus or wasa with neufchatel or goat cheese.

A few years ago I purchased a bulk box of popchips for my (non-conscious eater) father. He really likes the BBQ flavored ones. http://www.popchips.com
