With our busy lives it's so easy to make excuses. This thread is to do the opposite of that. Start with something that you COULD use as an excuse, and then state what you will do instead of using it as an excuse.

I'll start:
Even though I have two dinner parties this week, I will review menus in advance and make choices to stay on plan.

Even though I've been getting lazy about exercise and sleeping later instead of getting up and working out, I WILL exercise five days this week (including today). I will remember how great it makes me feel and how accomplished it makes me feel, and that it makes me feel more energized than an extra little bit of sleep.

I will get back on plan this week even though my mother is here from Greece and makes the most amazing Greek food! This week she is baking but I vow to freeze it all and enjoy it within moderation.

So funny, when I read the title of this thread, I thought it had to do with XXX-rated items


Anyhoo - I love this idea.

Even though I am so stinking tired these days, I will plan out my lunches & snacks in advance every single day AND eat only those foods.

Even though there is halloween candy & other treats in the office that are not that many calories, I will choose healthy (and tasty) snacks that nourish my body instead.

Even though I love to snooze, I will choose to get up the FIRST time my alarm goes off!!

Even though I am not losing inches as quickly as I would like, I will be up everyday at 4:30 to do my new Biggest Loser DVD.

Even though I binged all weekend and gained weight, I will not give up completely.

Even though I will be running a 10k on Saturday and will want to go out for a huge breakfast afterwards and celebrate, I will go straight home and chose to have a healthy lunch instead.
