The weekend was bad for me, but yesterday was a good day with no binging regrets! Today is going well so far, usually weekdays are easier for me but when it comes to the weekends, ugh that's another story... Good luck today everyone!

Startin day 3 today.. i gotta go take my drug test in a little while to see if i can get the walmart job.. im hoping i pass it.. i havent... :| smoked for a while now.. ive noticed since i started drinking alot of water that i dont feel the urge to binge that much lol but come on day 3 bring it on! lol

I just bakes brownies and blondies this monring, and I didn't eat a crumb!
I'm so proud of myself, I even stuck my nose close to them and inhaled deeply, but refrained from eating them at all!

Almost all of them will be going to work with my mom, so good ridiance to them!

I layed out some small slices with some pieces of cookies from yesterday to test for dessert, as soon as I'm done with those, I'll brush my teeth for bed- so today should be Day 1! Yay

I'm not in the mood for any sweets, so won't be eating any!
I've got a sweet potato in the oven for around 9:30, and that'll be it for the day!

Day 11. I'm really pleased I haven't binged but I've eaten so much these past few days, I think I've put back on all the weight I'd lost this last month. It's weird though- I used to look forward to excuses to overeat but now the idea of things coming up and me not being able to choose exactly what I want to eat makes me panicky!

Megan- I have read your posts and I have the same problem. I love to bake, but I eat out of control when I do. I am so against crappy processed foods, that I make everything I want myself, with natural whole foods. About 70% of my diet is fresh fruit, the rest is organic( greek yogurt, skinless chicken and nuts for protein) I eat no red meat or any food that is white, but will eat some fish, but very little. I know I'm strange, but it works for me. Anyway, I changed all my recipes to fit my diet. I use no margarine or butter, eggs, oils, refined sugar or white flour. I use natural applesauce to replace eggs and butter or oil. There are alot of ingredients you can use to replace the bad ones. Now when I bake, I eat as much as I want and it doesn't even make me gain weight or feel any guilt. Hope this helps.

I am on day 2 binge free, Sunday was terrible at 4300 calories. I have to get back on track and I will.

Almost binged tonight I was done my eating for the day but at 7:30 started to feel a bit hungry I had a low calorie snack but after wanted more and began to look in the cupboard to see what I had knowing that once I started I wouldn't stop. I closed the cupboards, drank a glass of water and brushed my teeth and the binging urge went away.

Ugh just weighed myself this morning... im down a pound.. i know i should be happy but it sucks i didnt loose more, well day 4 for me, maybe once i get these binging moods out of the way ill loose faster, my DH and i went for an hour walk yesterday so maybe i can get him to do it again today

I use applesauce too, and do use refined sugar, butorganic and fair trade, and vegan too, so it's less refined than most sugars, plus I use raw sugar and natural sweeteners like agave and maple syrup
I shouldnt feel as bad as I do when I eat so much of the things I make, because they are usually healthy, always vegan, and wholesome too, but I get so much sugar from all the fruit I eat, and I just hate the feeling of no control :P

MegantheMushroon, I know what you mean. I try to eat pretty healthy, too. Haven't had meat for a long while, and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. But when I did go crazy, it was on healthy food. Eventually you can gain from that, too. I can attest to that.LOL I know I just feel soooo much better physically and mentally when I stay in control. (Plus being in control helps us stay disease free.)
