Brenda: Good luck with dh. Mine is diabetic and he agreed he needed to do Atkins for that reason. The other day we stopped for breakfast and I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with fresh tomatoes and he ordered bacon and eggs over-easy, hashbrown, biscuit and gravy. I didn't say anything but I could not believe it. I wonder what his version of doing Atkins is? At any rate, I (the grown up that I am) let it affect me and I have had problems staying with program since.

Trazzie: Your weekend sounded way fun and relaxing.

Jani: Sorry that no one said anything but I bet they noticed.

Paula: What a great thing for your daughter to start out at an early age. Just think of the health issues she can avoid later by eating this way now.

Karen: I love the pamering too. Sounds like it was soooooo great.

Jina: I don't watch any hocky but my dh loves to. I just could never get into it and neither could he but then he went to a live game and that changed everything for him. Guess I need to see a live game.

TG: Yeah, we will have to talk VW's. Once he gets his done he wants to work on a Ghia for me. I want a ragtop though. Wish we could have been there too.

Star: As always the party girl. for you. You are right it is a good thing and yet a bad thing. Probably your body has gotten so used to not having to deal with that crappy old stuff that it doesn't know what to do with it so it makes you a little sickly.

Laura: Ex's are great aren't they. Glad it went well with ex and bf though. Hopefull your ex will realize now that your daughter cannot eat shellfish. Good luck searching for a "fur pal."

I had a busy weekend. Friday was quiet at the restaurant so a friend came in to eat and she and went power shopping at Ross and then went to Applebee's and had margaritas and coconut shrimp, beginning of my off program weekend. Saturday after work my dh, a friend, and I went to the casino and spent a few hours playing then had dinner at 1:00 in the morning, again not on plan, then Sunday I slept until 1:00 then went to work. By the time I got home my dil had fixed a wonderful stir fry that was on plan and that got me started again. Thank goodness something did. I feel so much more relaxed after spending that time just playing though. I love to play.

I have had problems staying on plan this weekend but I am a grown up and whether my dh does program or not it is still my responsibility what goes in my mouth. Hello

Off to work, talk to you later. Everybody have a great day. It was pretty nasty here but the just came out.

Geez, I have been busy at work today.

WELL, thank you everyone for your support while I was lost on the road to mental illness this morning You are always so kind.

But now you have to stop being nice to me because I went and was REALLY bad at lunch. I won't tell you all the details but it involved a bag of baked chips
I feel better now though. I think sometimes you just have to do it and be done with it. I think it helps believe it or not.

I just talked to a client in AL who mentioned she was on Atkins and had just restarted. We got chattin away about it. It was fun. She has the dreaded first two week headache!

Bunnababy: Sounds like you had a busy but fun weekend. I love margaritas! I have to get the Baja Bob sugar free stuff!

Morti: OMG That is too bad about your dd. I can't believe he told her to try it again! Just like a man..........."get over it" Glad she is doing better now.
Sorry she missed her graduation! She was probably so looking forward to this day.

Star: You are right....they probably just didn't want to say the wrong thing.
You definitely better stick to afternoon workout! Don't need you getting sick!

TG: I actually drove a Ghia once! It was so long ago now. A friend that I used to work with had one and she let me drive it one night. What a gas! No clutch! Do you do the restoration work yourself or do you have it done? If you do it I an REALLY impressed!

Jina: I am going to have to find a place around me that has low carb ice cream because my dh is an ice cream fanatic! We will leave a restaurant and all of a sudden there we are at Dairy Queen of all places!!!!!! Diet Sabotage!

Karen: "I waxed my upper lig and btows" You meant lip and eyebrows didn't you? I have been sitting here thinking......I know lig is lip but what the heck is btows? She couldn't mean her upper leg and between her toes could she? I love pampering nights.....I got into the jacquzzi last night and it felt so relaxing. I think that is why I finally slept all night. Just may have to try it again tonight.

Well this bad girl is going back to work. Hope to catch up again before I head home.

Hiya Everyone No time for personals, as usual I am on the run. Just found out that the nephew has a 6pm ballgame, so that means I have 50 mins to shower, get ready, and drive the 20 miles to the ballpark! Hope everyone is having a great day! I will try to check back in later for personals!

Morti good luck finding a pup, try checking out www.petfinder.com , they have searches you can do by specifications and all the humane societies and shelters use them. They also have a message board with urgent pets on it that are in their last days before euthanasia.

Hey TG - If you know anyone looking for pitbull "puppies" (I think they're around 6-9 months old). I have a friend who's looking for a home for two terribly sweet females.

I made the flylady site bookmarked. For a day when I can just sit for longer than 5 minutes and read that. I had intentions today of just sweeping through the house and just cleaning. But when it came down to it I was in such a funk I really didn't care. I HATE/DETEST this mood. Can't blame it on TOM because that's disappearing. Maybe still hormonal, I'm not sure. Told DH I need some type of chill pill because this mood was

Hi there everyone,

Just popping in to say that, sadly, the Calgary Flames lost tonight to Tampa Bay.

Jina - I was still sort of cheering for Calgary (though my Dad was cheering for TBay, since we've actually seen TBay play live), but hey, they were outplayed in the first two periods. Actually, the defence for Calgary was weak tonight, I thought. Goaltending was great though, both sides. Although the third period, wow, that was *very* exciting for the last ten minutes. I was so sure that we were going into overtime. What a great ending for a 7th game (except of course for the fact that Calgary lost) - all that tension!

Sometimes hockey is so darn fun to watch...I especially love to watch Olympic and playoff hockey because it can be so *good*. I'm so not a fan of the excessive fighting during regular season, so I don't have as much interest watching it then...but I know that stuff is popular among some folks.

Anyway, that is all, see you tomorrow!

Julie

WOO-HOO! The Lightning won!!

Julie: Any time I want a team to win, I'll have you cheer against them! It seems to work rather nicely. What a game! What a series! Who knew a hockey team in Florida would win the Stanley Cup?
