Restaurants and Bars?
So, every Monday night me and my other half go to a little tavern for a pub quiz night and we eat there too.
Usually I get the steak and chips (£7/$8 for a 5oz steak, chips, onions rings and tomatoes? Bargain!) Obviously now though, I can't do that.
I do know, however, that they do a smoked duck, pear and watercress salad. I really want to give it a go but the only problem is it's a little independently owned tavern with a chef who doesn't really count calories (he often sits with the patrons and he was asked by quite a rude lady why none of his food is particularly healthy. He responded with "I make food based on taste, not numbers").
So, how the heck do I work out the calories without putting in every ingredient into my calorie counter?
